"Cycles of Life" at Mt. Sunapee Yet another in a series of phone camera pictures from our Friday bike rides. Our group which I currently refer to the "Cycles of Life" is still open to name suggestions. After the Vermontasaurus ride of last week, one of our siblings suggested a name invoking dinosaurs due to the age of the group. In our area, fall is arriving with the earliest signs of color in the trees. This also means thoughts turn to skiing. Bob on the right and Rod on the left are both avid skiers and their "home" mountain is Mt. Sunapee in New Hampshire. Bob has developed a ride from his hometown of Grantham to Mt. Sunapee designed for the express purpose of picking up his annual ski pass. The ride details can be viewed at Mt. Sunapee Ski Pass Loop. I am including an elevation profile of the ride as I think the numerous ups and downs befit the name of the ride. Unfortunately this will probably be our last ride all together this year as Bob is doing the Sea Coast Century next week and Rod and I will completing our training for the Seagull Century in 2 weeks. But we all agreed that we should now "Think Snow"!
